  • What is Kombucha?
    Kombucha is a fermented tea that has been enjoyed for centuries for its numerous health benefits. Made by fermenting sweet tea with a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY), kombucha is rich in probiotics, antioxidants, and other beneficial compounds that can support digestive health and boost the immune system. At Ishka Kombucha, we take pride in creating kombucha that is both delicious and nutritious, using only the highest quality ingredients and brewing our kombucha in small batches to ensure maximum flavour and potency.
  • Is there sugar in your Kombucha?
    Raw organic sugar is the natural food which sustains our wild kombucha culture and keeps it healthy and happy. The slow fermentation process enables the living cultures to thrive and produce a range of organic acids and probiotics that give kombucha its characteristic flavour and health benefits. The culture metabolises most of the added sugar during fermentation.

  • What makes Ishka Kombucha different?
    Our Kombucha is handcrafted in small batches and takes up to four weeks to ferment naturally using a wild culture of yeast and bacteria (SCOBY). We source the finest organic ingredients and flavour our kombucha with organic botanicals and cold pressed fruit juice. There are no concentrates, extracts or natural flavours added. The result is a kombucha that is live, unpasteurised, full of flavour and rich in probiotics.
  • What are your delivery days?
    We offer home delivery on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Our deliveries will be dropped off between 5am - 8am.
  • Can I request a specific drop-off time for my delivery?
    Please add any delivery time requests in the notes section at check-out and we will do our best to meet this, however, we can't guarantee. All deliveries will be dropped off between 5am - 8am.
  • What is your delivery zone?
    We currently deliver products to a zone within an approximate 13km radius of Osborne Park, Western Australia. Minimum order $40 with $10 delivery fee. Free delivery on orders over $59. We do not provide a delivery service to Perth CBD or residential addresses where there is no easy physical access (locked gates, intercom access, gated communities) unless there is someone available to take receipt of the goods.
  • I won’t be home when my order is scheduled to arrive. Do I need to put it in the fridge right away?
    Although kombucha should stay refrigerated it's ok to leave outside for a short while, if it is in a safe location. Best not to open one if it's warm or you may get a kombucha shower! If it is likely to be unattended for hours, leave out an esky for us and we will recycle the packaging for you. We will also send you a notification by text to let you know your kombucha has arrived. Please let us know of any delivery details in the notes section at the check-out.
  • Can I pick up my delivery?
    We are not resourced to offer retail sales or pickups from our production facility at this stage.
  • I won’t be home when my order is scheduled to arrive. Do I need to put it in the fridge right away? (Copy) j
    Although kombucha should stay refrigerated it's ok to leave outside for a short while, if it is in a safe location. Best not to open one if it's warm or you may get a kombucha shower! We are conscious of not creating unnecessary waste packaging so your delivery will be in cardboard cartons. If it likely to be unattended for hours, better to leave out an esky for us and we will recycle the packaging for you. We will also send you a notification by text to let you know your kombucha has arrived. Please let us know where you would like us to leave your order in the comments section of the checkout section.
  • Can I change or cancel my subscription?
    Yes, of course. Simply log in to your account to make the necessary changes. You can alter the frequency of your orders, or cancel your subscription at any time without penalty. We do ask that you do so prior to your scheduled delivery day so we can make the correct adjustments.
  • Can I pick up my delivery ? (Copy) j
    Yes, by arrangement during business hours, Monday – Friday. Place your expected day/time for pickup in the notes section when ordering and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you absolutely need to pick up your order outside of our regular hours, please let us know and we'll do our best to facilitate you. Pickups are from the side of 32 Hector St Osborne Park. This is not a retail premises, please call when you arrive and someone will open the rear door with your precious delivery.
